Football Veggie Tray. I'm a fan of creatively arranging fruits and veggies into fun party themed trays. From a turkey or Christmas tree veggie tray to a football fruit tray, it's easy to get a little creative with cut up fruits and veggies. Using an oval dish for the red and orange veggies helps keep them in the shape of a football.

Surround the football shape with all the green veggies like cucumber slices, celery strips, sugar snap peas, broccoli, etc. Add tomatoes around the edge of the football shape, to help define it. Cut up piece of white cheese into long strands or rectangles. Lay one long one down and cross it with 3-5 shorter pieces to make the football laces.

It tends to be salty, cheesy, and very dip-able. These could be vegetarian appetizers that you serve while watching the weekly game or healthy Super Bowl snacks to save for the big day.
