October 1, 2023 by Doms Desk. Demri Parrott was a model, artist, muse, and actress who was best known for being the former fiancee of Alice in Chains frontman, Layne Staley. She died of a drug overdose on October 29, 1996, at the age of 27. Her death also contributed to the demise of Staley, who succumbed to his addiction in 2002.
